Job Title- Bookkeeper
Hours- 20 hrs. weekly could potentially increase
Hourly pay $21.00
Must Have Experience with QuickBooks and knowledge of warehouse work.
The ideal candidate has experience working in Quick books and warehouse work. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.
- Safety and housekeeping – Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized workstation, alerting supervisors of any concerns, and completing continuing education for safety and hazards. Review any complaints and notify the shift leader of on-going shipping or receiving issues. Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Bookkeeping is the systematic recording, organizing, and tracking of a business’s financial transactions—like sales, purchases, payments, and receipts. It ensures that financial records are accurate and up to date, which is crucial for budgeting, tax reporting, and decision-making.
Maintain financial records: Track daily transactions in ledgers or accounting software.
Reconcile accounts: Ensure that records match bank statements and other financial documents.
Prepare financial reports: Help generate balance sheets, income statements, and trial balances.
Monitor budgets: Track spending and identify variances from projected budgets.
Ensure compliance: Stay up to date with local tax laws and financial regulations
Essential Skills
Strong attention to detail
Proficiency in spreadsheet tools (like Excel)
Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Zoho)
Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS)
Organizational and time management skills
