Looking for a dynamic Packers and Pickers to ensure efficient order fulfillment in our warehouse. As the bridge between inventory and delivery, you’ll select and pack items with accuracy and speed. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a team-oriented mindset.
Packer and Picker Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Pick items from warehouse shelves based on order specifications
- Pack and label orders accurately for shipment, ensuring product safety
- Collaborate with warehouse team to meet daily order fulfillment targets
- Inspect items for quality and report discrepancies or damages
- Maintain an organized and clean work area per safety standards
- Use warehouse tools (e.g., scanners, pallet jacks) to complete tasks
- Follow safety protocols and inventory management procedures
- Align picking and packing tasks with warehouse schedules and goals
- Communicate order status and inventory issues to supervisors
Packer and Picker Qualifications and Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory systems
- Excellent physical stamina for lifting, standing, and repetitive tasks
- Experience with warehouse equipment (e.g., handheld scanners)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Safety-conscious and efficiency-focused approach
Education and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1+ years of experience in warehouse, picking, or packing roles
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems or order processing
- Experience in high-volume distribution centers is a plus
- Certifications like OSHA safety training or forklift operation are welcomed.
- shift: 1st fixed hours – this could be 7.30-4 or 8.30-5.
