Utility Operator – Cross Dock
Moore Advanced Inc. is looking for Utility Operator – Cross Dock (4798) in Cumming, GA
6-month Contract to Possible Permanent.
Pay Rate- $19.70
Monday – Friday, some weekends as needed
8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Hours of work may vary depending on the needs and demands of the plant(s).

Job Description
SUMMARY
This position is responsible for the assisting the overall operation of production on their shift. The following list of responsibilities and requirements is not intended to be comprehensive and may be modified at any time by the Human Resource Business Partner, in response to current business needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Receives training and performs duties in the cross-dock area.
Learns proper operating procedures and practices at the cross-dock area.
Receives training in functions and operations of all departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between cross dock and plant operations.
Operates PIT equipment to unload trailers of combos and transfer’s them to hooper for loading onto open top trailer.
Operates Yard truck on cross dock area and moves trailers to plant operations area from cross dock.
Attends company-sponsored training classes.
Abides by all company Safety, QA and Human Resource policies.
Any other work duties as assigned by Management.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus, one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain a PIT license and operate yard truck.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.
The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat; and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and risk of electrical shock.
The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
